Family fun open evening at Aberdyfi Fire Station

Posted

Aberdyfi Fire Station will be opening its doors to the public on Thursday, 16th August and inviting local residents and visitors to come along for a free, fun evening out.

The event, which start at 6:30pm, will feature children's entertainment including a bouncy castle and a 'soak the firefighter' game as well as various demonstrations by firefighters and a demo showing the dangers of putting water on chip pan fires.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to register for a free home fire safety check, as well as receiving fire safety advice and having the opportunity to look around the fire engines on station.

Louis Hiatt, one of the organisers, said: "We would like to see as many people as possible at the open evening showing their support for their local fire station. We will have lots of activities and events going on for visitors of all ages.

"Entry is free and everyone is welcome!"
