Derelict church involved in fire in Saltney Ferry

Six fire appliances, an Ariel Ladder Platform and the Environmental Protection Unit are in attendance at a fire in a derelict church on Flint Road, Saltney Ferry. North Wales Fire and Rescue Service received a call reporting a fire at the premises at 6.19pm on Thursday 11th December.
Approximately twenty properties on Flint road have lost their electrical supply as a result of the fire but there has been no need to evacuate properties as a result of the incident.
Crews are still in attendance at the incident and the cause of the fire is not yet known but will be investigated when the fire is out.
